In January I was lucky enough to shoot Dom Brown’s band Blue to Brown at the Swindon Arts Centre. As a kid growing up just outside Birmingham in the 80’s Duran Duran were the local boys made good and I was a big fan. The original lead guitarist Andy Taylor left the band for the second time in 2006 to be replaced by Dom. Phil organised the event as a charity concert with the proceeds going to the hep c positive charity in Swindon and the Commonweal school restoration fund, who supported Blue to Brown as the Commonweal Collective.

Merley house is one of my favourite wedding venues in Dorset, the house itself is amazing with lots of natural light streaming in and really helpful staff so I was really pleased when asked to photograph Katherine and Kevin’s Merley House wedding. The day itself was fantastic, from the hotrod bridal car to the their lovely family and friends, it couldn’t have been a better day.
