Another amazing year with plenty of fantastic weddings. I’ve included some of the highlights here, including a trip up to Manchester in late April to shoot Kate and Mark’s big day on Saddleworth moor with a full on blizzard in the afternoon, followed by a flight to Malaysia the very next day! In March old friends Alex and Simon tied the knot at Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire where it was good to meet up with 3 other couples who’s weddings I’ve shot in the last couple of years.
In the summer I took a flight up to Scotland to shoot Leslie and Paul’s wedding in Glasgow where I was made so welcome then it was down to my home town of Bournemouth to shoot Adam and Misha’s wedding at the amazing Italian Villa in Compton acres gardens. A beautiful summers day and great fun to shoot. A local wedding to end the year at the Swindon Marriot with James and Nicola’s big day again in glorious sunshine.
As ever I’ve thrown a bit of travel into the mix including Malaysia, Thailand, Berlin, Mallorca and Qatar as well as a trip up to the North Norfolk coast and also a few from the Royal International Air Tatoo at RAF Fairford.
2017 is looking really exciting with my first wedding of the year in 2 weeks time and bookings through to November including a trip up to the Shetland Islands in June which should be amazing. I’ve also recently expanded my camera equipment with the purchase of a Fuji XT1 and XT2 which are awsome cameras and a lot lighter than my big Nikons.
I’ve witnessed some really beautiful moments in 2016 and a massive thank you to everyone that’s entrusted me with your wedding photography and also to everyone who follows me on social media or has liked my posts, it really means a lot.
Happy 2017
Nick
Some weddings are a bit special, when everything comes together, the weather, the people and the venue. Misha and Adam’s Bournemouth wedding was one of these. Adam was another of my ATC students who lives in Dubai, when he told me he and Misha were …
